I’m Back, and I’m Married!
Now that it’s all over, wasn’t nothing to it but to do it.
All of the stressing, vomiting, crying, worrying, eating, sleeping, was all worth it. My wedding was the greatest experience of my life, and so far, I wouldn’t hesitate to do it all again the exact same way. It’s true what people say; it all goes by in a blur. But the things I’ll always remember go in this order:
1. The look on my wife’s face.
2. How much fun I had with all of my friends and family. (Including this guy. Thanks for making the trip, hoss.)
3. How perfectly everything went.
Save for too much time taking pictures, and the agonizing pain of wearing rented shoes for 15 hours consecutively, everything was just too perfect. I stumbled over my wedding vows, not from inebriation or nervousness, but because my wife was just that gorgeous. She’s gorgeous to me everyday, but TODAY…
Wow.
Don’t worry, I’ll have the pictures up soon.
Reception was off the hook. If you are ever in Baltimore and want to get married, whatever you do, have your reception at Martin’s West. Attention to detail isn’t even the right way to describe how the folks at this place treated our entire party. (Thank you Jermaine and Tracy) Everything was magical, and that’s not even a word straight men will use on a regular basis without sitting in front of highlights of Magic Johnson.
We are just returning from San Juan, Puerto Rico, and I will be posting more about that trip when my wife returns from some errands. You know, just to have the facts straight.
