The Perfect Couple
…or so I’m hoping we’ll turn out to be. I know it’s been a while since I last updated this blog, but moving in the new house is complete, school is pretty much under wraps, and I finally believe I have a handle on how to be a good husband everyday.
Surprises.
I won’t go into great detail about my arsenal, but let’s just say I’ve discovered that the key to my woman’s heart is nearly making it jump out of her chest. My wife loves surprises, and through the magic of television sitcoms, plenty of Oprah and Dr. Phil, I’m starting to realize that engaging your woman with surprises and random acts of kindness will get you a happy home and the wedding day glow, 24-7.
Doing chores makes her content, but bubble baths make her happy. You should aim for happy everyday.
So you’re probably wondering why I named this post the way I did. Well, it’s because there’s another surprise in store, Lord willing. I have submitted an email for us to be considered for a reality show centered around newlywed couples. I don’t know if we have the look, or the type of life that would be conducive to the show, but it’s worth a shot. I got the info for the show off of a WeddingChannel.com message board, so we’ll see what happens.
Maybe we can get a slot just before Ace of Cakes.
