Top Five Games to Whoop Your Wife In
In my brief time as a married man, I’ve convinced my wife to enjoy a lot of the things I like. College football, PTI, and the Boondocks are just a few. While she still turns her nose at ‘Heroes’ and Xbox, I still am madly in love with her for her open-minded spirit.
Which is generally in tact unless we are playing board or card games.
One of the interests that we share is a great love for board and card games. In our house, we have several different games that we compete in on a semi-regular basis. If you haven’t discovered board games with your spouse, here are some that jump off the competitive energy in your relationship.
5. Uno – Our house has about three different variations of this game. (Attack, Spin, etc.) It’s a childhood classic that is still fun today. You could probably play it with your homeboys if you had enough liquor to go around.
4. Deal or No Deal – We have an electronic version that allows us to compete with each other to see who picks the case with the most money at the end. More fun than you think it might be.
3. $100,000 Pyramid – Instant classic. No explanations necessary if you are a Donny Osmond fan.
2. Battle of the Sexes – Questions are presented based on information that men and women are more likely to know. My wife can’t beat me at all in this game, and I’m not sure if that is a good thing.
1. Scrabble – The game we are most evenly matched in is similar to chess. Just make sure you keep track of all the vowels, and keep a running tab of your victories to brag to your friends.
