Wedding Crasher Gets 45 Days in Jail
I saw this on Inside Edition not too long ago, but here’s an update on the crazy woman who was crashing weddings and stealing couples’ gifts.
Originally sentenced to six years in prison, Judge Joel Tingey suspended Kimberly Cooper’s sentence for four years of probation and 45 days in a Bonneville, ID jail.
I can’t imagine if our stuff got jacked at the reception, but looking back on the event, it wouldn’t have been an overly difficult heist. Our stuff was sitting on the table right by the entrance to the reception hall, so any ill-intended soul could’ve helped themselves to an unlimited number of fine items from stores like Target, Bed, Bath and Beyond and Best Buy.
Fortunately, the good folks at Martin’s West keep a good eye out for stuff like that, so I’m pretty sure all the towels, sheets and accessories we’ve bought since the wedding were all there as the gift givers intended.
