Divorce360.com – A Circle of Negativity
Apparently, there is an entire website dedicated to when, why and how people should get divorced, Divorce360.com. Is there anything more negative out there?
Now, with the amount of divorces that happen in this country, I’m not surprised that someone actually created a web enterprise out of it. People are always looking for ways to be happier, and one of the slowest, most excruciating ways to do it is divorce.
So, if you’re thinking about splitting, this is the portal you need to be on.
But for those of us who aren’t close to breaking our vows, this is a pretty sad commentary. While the site does have helpful information to assist in such a division, I just don’t think it should be chock-full-o’-options like divorce is the best option.
How about goseeacounselor.com? Perhaps eliminatepride.net? Maybe workitout.org. Something should come along that encourages people about staying married, and excites them about the work that is necessary.
Perhaps people don’t realize that divorce is just as temporary as marriage. Financially, it will cost you. Socially, you now go from a pretty honorable title to one that carries connotations of instability. Emotionally, you’re just all screwed up with trust and commitment issues.
So you can go the divorce route. It’s everyone’s right to separate when they believe a marriage can go no further. But the thing about marriages, unlike most other things in life, is that there is always another level of love that can save you in times of need. There’s only one level to divorce, and that’s painful.
