The Look of Parenthood
Lord willing, the little baby that is growing within my wife will grow up fast and healthy. My wife and I know this going into it, so we know that we just have to hold on for the ride and try to hold back the tears from time moving so fast.
But if we are fortunate enough to develop certain traits of parenthood that will make that growing-up process happy and meaningful, we will have done as good a job as our parents did with both of us. Which is why we need to start creating a look for our children when they do wrong.
You know that look. When you’ve completely screwed up and the best you can muster is “I don’t know” for a reason. It’s a spellbinding, soul crushing look and we need one.
Hopefully, it will turn out like this one.
