Rowe, who married Jackson at the Sheraton Hotel Sydney in November 1996, said she was artificially inseminated by an anonymous donor and likened herself to one of the thoroughbred mares she now keeps on her California ranch.

“I was just the vessel. It wasn’t Michael’s sperm,” Rowe told News of the World.

“I got paid for it, and I’ve moved on. I know I will never see my children again.”

Interestingly enough, if you did a Google news search on the word “Marriage,” your top five results would be stories about gay marriage rights and the faltering marriage of Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez.

Ain’t it grand? A rich actress who can’t stay married and people who aren’t allowed to be married sharing an algorithm.

You hear so much talk about how commercial Christmas has gone, but what about the ordinary miracle of marriage? It’s pretty sad that so many people work so hard at it, only to be bombarded in news and entertainment about how being in a celebrity marriage is suffering at its worst, and how people who are in love have to fight so hard to get a basic human right.

Neither is deserving of our two-cents, but this culture makes it our two-cents. Misery is the best headline and here are the polar opposites of it. And we wonder why 50 percent of these things fail?

Because no one is promoting it to be something worth while.
